I like the part where Jesus says, "I no longer call you servants but friends".
We have to come to God in humility, like that prodigal son walking back home, but when we do, we find ourselves grafted into the divine family and there are new reasons to be grateful and celebrate with friends. A church is not run by volunteers, it is run by those who are co-owners of the work that God has given us building up His kingdom.
We believe in one triune God, the Creator of all things, who is infinite in love, wisdom, and power.
We affirm the divinity of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit, who guides and comforts us.
Jesus is alive! 100% human and 100% God, He was crucified and rose again, breaking free of the tomb. He is victorious over Sin, Death and the Devil.
We hold the Biblical 66 books of Holy Scripture as sacred, revealing Jesus Christ to us and the world and guiding us in our Christian walk each day.
We embrace the teachings of Jesus, who calls us all to repent and then abide in him, the true vine, as he teaches us to love one another, care for the needy, and seek God’s justice and peace in the world.
We believe that we are able to have a personal relationship with Jesus. He hears our prayers and presents them before our Father.
We believe salvation is entirely through God's grace and results in a changed heart and grateful spirit which causes us the bear fruit. Our works are the fruit of a changed life. We love because He first loved us.
As Baptists, we celebrate the sacraments of communion and baptism as meaningful expressions of our faith.
We welcome all who seek a relationship with God and a community of believers.
Together, we strive to grow in faith, deepen our understanding of God's love, and live out our beliefs in service to others.

Below, please find a photo of an older Mission statement from the congregation.
Although it is older, I believe that we would all still agree on it.
Perhaps, it has stood the test of time.
